Alfred University Summer Camps
Coed residential camp
Alfred University's residential summer programs offer in-depth instruction in Astronomy, Art Portfolio Prep, Creative Writing, Chemistry, Computers, Engineering, Entrepreneurship, Robotics, Theater, Equestrian and Swimming. Classes, taught by distinguished members of the University faculty, are kept small to allow for lots of individualized attention. When not in class, campers enjoy participating in fun recreational activities along with taking time to relax and get to know one another. Out-of-class supervision is provided by our team of Resident Assistants, who are specially trained to serve as camp counselors, positive role models, mentors and friends.
Our campus is located in a safe, peaceful village in western New York State, surrounded by rolling hills and beautiful meadows and valleys. Campers stay in clean, modern residence halls and all-you-can-eat, cafeteria-style meals are served in the University dining hall. With Alfred University's excellence in teaching and quality programming, this is the perfect place to spend an enjoyable week or two learning, making friends, and experiencing life on a college campus!

Camp Killooleet
Residential coed summer camp
Camp Killooleet, a summer camp for boys and girls ages 9 - 14, is nestled into a beautiful corner of the Green Mountain National Forest in Hancock, Vermont. For over 80 years it has been owned and run by educators who know and listen to children. Killooleet is a "traditional camp" (varied activities, full season, weekly hikes and two overnight trips) that goes its own way in a non-traditional manner. Camp is non-competitive and highly individual. Strong cabin groups are built through working and playing together. With about 100 campers, Killooleet is small enough so that everyone knows each other and friendships develop between campers of different ages who share the same interests.
At Killooleet, half the activities are in sports (waterfront, team and individual) and half are in studio and performing arts. We all explore the beauty of Vermont for ten days over the summer, on foot, bicycle, canoe and horseback.

Camp Akeela is a co-ed, overnight camp in Vermont. Within a well-rounded and traditional program we emphasize the social growth of our campers, many of whom have been diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome or a non verbal learning disability.
Akeela is an intentional community that values and celebrates each child and staff member. Campers make life-long friends, develop self-confidence, achieve independence, and leave camp with lasting memories filled with fun and spirit. Cardigan Mountain School Summer Session
Residential coed summer camp
Lots more than a summer camp... Located in the foothills of New Hampshire's White Mountains, the Cardigan Mountain School Summer Session combines academic review and enrichment with all of the recreation and fun of a traditional summer camp for boys and birls in grades 3-9. In the mornings, students can hone their skills in math or reading; work on study skills, note taking or test prep; or challenge themselves through literature, rocketry, robotics or foreign language courses.
Classes in music, pottery, drama, and photography highlight the arts program, and Cougar Clinics give students the opportunity to practice a favorite sport or learn a new one. With so many choices, each student can design his or her ideal summer experience. In the afternoons and weekends, the 500 acre lakeside campus provides an ideal setting for sports, swimming, sailing, and simply enjoying summer in New Hampshire. Numerous off-campus trips, evening performances and bonfires, and our annual Green and White competition round out the Cardigan experience. Summer Institute for the Gifted
Coed Camps with Residential & Day Camp Sessions
Gifted students ages 4-17 can participate in the renowned Summer Institute for the Gifted (SIG) program. Hosted at pretigious colleges and universities, SIG has an excellent well-rounded program for gifted students as it combines academics, social, cultural and recreational opportunities. Our programs provide students with academic challenges designed to fit their abilities and interests. It also provides them with the opportunity to engage with other students who have similar abilities and interests. Because of our small classes, low teacher-student ratio, and an assistant in every class, we are able to individualize the program for each student. Students live and learn on campus for three weeks, leaving with the confidence gained by an experience that is all their own.
Because of our small classes, low teacher-student ratio, and teaching assistants, SIG individualizes the program for each student. Student safety, security and health are our top priority as SIG programs are well staffed for careful supervision. Our more than 25 years of experience have made us the leading organization in the field.

Founded in 1919, Winnebago is located on 400 acres with two miles of shorefront on pristine Echo Lake. 150 campers come each summer to enjoy the best summer of their lives. We enjoy a 90% return rate, which is proof of how much fun camp is and how much campers get from the Winnebago experience.

Nashoba North offers a wonderful summer camp experience for boys and girls ages 7 to 15. Located on the shore of Crescent Lake in the Sebago Lake region of southern Maine, Nashoba North is nestled on ninety-five acres of pinewoods and open fields. Campers enjoy breathtaking mountain views and serene peacefulness.
We have a large array of water sports on crystal clear Crescent Lake. Beautiful facilities and cabins are bright and equipped with showers, toilets and electricity. Individual camper schedules. Nashoba has tennis, soccer, theater, dance, archery, pottery, baseball, basketball, woodworking, animal care, art, rock-climbing, and much more! Extensive riding and golf programs. Nashoba North is a non-sectarian ACA accredited camp. International campers are welcome. 4, 7, and 8 week sessions; two 1-week horseback riding program; 15 Discovery program for first time campers in grade 5 or below.
Camp Cody

Camp Cody for Boys and Girls is part of a camping heritage that goes back to 1926. Nestled on the sandy beaches of beautiful Lake Ossipee amidst the White Mountains of New Hampshire, Cody offers a summer experience rich in fun, friendship, learning and adventure. Cody is a traditional summer camp for both girls and boys - campers range in age from seven to fifteen. Camp Cody is situated on nearly one hundred acres of naturally wooded property and a mile of superb sandy shoreline on Lake Ossipee. Our lake is four miles long and two miles wide with a natural sand bottom and is warm and clear. Our magnificent National Forest setting provides us with unlimited outdoor opportunities, in addition to the many in-camp activities we offer.

Camp Northwood

Camp Northwood is oriented toward children with low self-esteem, immature social skill development, learning challenges and Asperger's Syndrome in need of a structured and supportive summer experience. Northwood's program focuses on the development of independence, social skills and self-image.
Campers participate in a non-competitive, socially oriented, "main-streamed" styled program. A 2:1 camper/counselor ratio provides a level of individualization at activities and in the cabin setting insuring success. In addition to traditional camp activities, campers participate in an individually designed academic program intended to help maintain current skill levels throughout the summer.
Northwood campers are exposed to a variety of social experiences designed to foster age-appropriate social skill development. Group social skill sessions and constant reinforcement within the cabin setting cultivate growth in each camper's ability to work as part of a team, interpret social situations and feel a sense of inclusion in our camp community.
Camp Wicosuta for Girls

Camp Wicosuta is a traditional summer camp for girls located on Newfound Lake in NH, offering 4-week sessions and a 2-week introductory session for first-time campers (completing grades 1-5). Usdan Center for the Creative and Performing Arts
Coed Day Camp
Usdan Center for the Creative and Performing Arts (www.usdan.com) is the arts day camp declared a "Best Of" camp by TimeOutNY/Kids, NY Metro Parents, and Long Island Press. The 2012 season begins on June 25th at the Center's 200-acre woodland campus on Long Island. Usdan is open to young people ages 6 to 18, and no audition is required - rather, admission is based on an expression of interest in the arts. Each summer, 1,600 students travel to the Center each day on air-conditioned buses that depart from neighborhoods throughout the New York metropolitan area.
Usdan was formed to provide the arts as a companion for life through great teaching and the camaraderie of fellow students whose common bond is their love of the arts. Usdan offers more than 40 programs in Music, Theater, Dance, Visual Arts, Nature, Chess, and Writing. Although Usdan's mission is for every child to establish a skill-based relationship with the arts, the unique stimulation of the Center has caused many to go on to professional careers. Alumni include singers Mariah Carey, Natalie Portman, and jazz singer Jane Monheit, as well as members of major music, theater, and dance ensembles throughout the world.

JCC Kaleidoscope Creative Arts & Science Camp

JCC Kaleidoscope campers entering grades K-8 explore performing and visual arts, science, swimming and sports at the Leventhal-Sidman Jewish Community Center in Newton, MA. CITs in grades 9-11 gain leadership skills assisting staff and planning activities.
Facilities include professional studios; theater; playing fields; indoor and outdoor pools; and fishing and boating in the nearby Charles River. Ours is a nurturing community infused with Jewish values and content.
Campers enroll for a minimum of 2 weeks. Each four-week session culminates in "Arts Nite," featuring musical productions and a multimedia exhibit of campers' accomplishments. 9am-4pm with early drop-off and extended day options. Kaleidoscope, like all JCC camps, is open to the entire community.

Everwood Day Camp is a camp community where children are empowered to dream bigger dreams, and develop stronger self esteem, independence and resilience, all in a place that feels like a real "Camp" should! Our spectacular 50 acre wooded property sits on the shores of 350 acre Lake Massapoag and is highlighted by 25 buildings and camper cabins.
Everwood offers 9 weeks of camp for children ages 4-14. Transportation is included in our tuition, as are two snacks per day, as well as a BBQ lunch on Friday. Specially trained bus counselors ride each bus to camp and engage campers in exciting activities to make the ride to camp just as fun as the rest of their camp day!

Our General Camp offers 3-13 year old campers a rich variety of activities on our 17 acre campus. Classes, taught by distinguished members of the University faculty, are kept small to allow for lots of individualized attention. When not in class, campers enjoy participating in fun recreational activities along with taking time to relax and get to know one another. Out-of-class supervision is provided by our team of Resident Assistants, who are specially trained to serve as camp counselors, positive role models, mentors and friends.
Our campus is located in a safe, peaceful village in western New York State, surrounded by rolling hills and beautiful meadows and valleys. Campers stay in clean, modern residence halls and all-you-can-eat, cafeteria-style meals are served in the University dining hall.
