Cardigan Mountain School Summer Session
Residential coed summer camp
Lots more than a summer camp... Located in the foothills of New Hampshire's White Mountains, the Cardigan Mountain School Summer Session combines academic review and enrichment with all of the recreation and fun of a traditional summer camp for boys and birls in grades 3-9. In the mornings, students can hone their skills in math or reading; work on study skills, note taking or test prep; or challenge themselves through literature, rocketry, robotics or foreign language courses.
Classes in music, pottery, drama, and photography highlight the arts program, and Cougar Clinics give students the opportunity to practice a favorite sport or learn a new one. With so many choices, each student can design his or her ideal summer experience. In the afternoons and weekends, the 500 acre lakeside campus provides an ideal setting for sports, swimming, sailing, and simply enjoying summer in New Hampshire. Numerous off-campus trips, evening performances and bonfires, and our annual Green and White competition round out the Cardigan experience. Camp Kippewa for Girls
Residential girls' summer camp
Experience customized camping at Camp Kippewa, a unique all-girls overnight camp in Maine for ages 7 to 15. In each 4-week session, girls create their own weekly schedule from a tremendous array of activities, participating in six activity blocks daily.
The Arts program offers over 20 disciplines of fine arts & crafts and dance & theater. Onsite horseback riding facilities host an unbeatable Equestrian program where campers can ride daily. Lake Cobbosseecontee is the perfect setting for top-notch Water Sports instruction in waterskiing, sailing, windsurfing, canoeing and kayaking. The program also offers a variety of Land Sports including tennis, gymnastics, softball and lacrosse. Campers enjoy the natural setting of Maine with ocean sailing trips, beach days, wilderness hikes and canoe trips.

Usdan Center for the Creative and Performing Arts
Coed Day Camp
Usdan Center for the Creative and Performing Arts (www.usdan.com) is the arts day camp declared a "Best Of" camp by TimeOutNY/Kids, NY Metro Parents, and Long Island Press. The 2012 season begins on June 25th at the Center's 200-acre woodland campus on Long Island. Usdan is open to young people ages 6 to 18, and no audition is required - rather, admission is based on an expression of interest in the arts. Each summer, 1,600 students travel to the Center each day on air-conditioned buses that depart from neighborhoods throughout the New York metropolitan area.
Usdan was formed to provide the arts as a companion for life through great teaching and the camaraderie of fellow students whose common bond is their love of the arts. Usdan offers more than 40 programs in Music, Theater, Dance, Visual Arts, Nature, Chess, and Writing. Although Usdan's mission is for every child to establish a skill-based relationship with the arts, the unique stimulation of the Center has caused many to go on to professional careers. Alumni include singers Mariah Carey, Natalie Portman, and jazz singer Jane Monheit, as well as members of major music, theater, and dance ensembles throughout the world.
Camp Nashoba North

Nashoba North offers a wonderful summer camp experience for boys and girls ages 7 to 15. Located on the shore of Crescent Lake in the Sebago Lake region of southern Maine, Nashoba North is nestled on ninety-five acres of pinewoods and open fields. Campers enjoy breathtaking mountain views and serene peacefulness.
We have a large array of water sports on crystal clear Crescent Lake. Beautiful facilities and cabins are bright and equipped with showers, toilets and electricity. Individual camper schedules. Nashoba has tennis, soccer, theater, dance, archery, pottery, baseball, basketball, woodworking, animal care, art, rock-climbing, and much more! Extensive riding and golf programs. We have an energetic staff in a supportive atmosphere with an fantastic 3 to 1 camper/staff ratio. Excellent health care staff.
Nashoba North is a non-sectarian ACA accredited camp. International campers are welcome. 4, 7, and 8 week sessions; two 1-week horseback riding program; 15 Discovery program for first time campers in grade 5 or below.

JCC Maccabi Camp Kingswood

JCC Maccabi Camp Kingswood, the JCC of Greater Boston's camp for boys and girls ages 8-15, is located in Bridgton, Maine. The camp provides a broad athletic, creative arts and cultural program that allows campers many opportunities to deepen their skills and try new things. In this caring and positive environment campers are supported in developng independence, becoming more self-confident, learning cooperation and teamwork, and in strenghtening their Jewish identities. Kingswood's kitchen is kosher.
The camp has exceptional facilities: athletic fields, climbing wall, and high and low ropes courses. Programs in the arts, theatre, dance and gymnastics and a fully equipped waterfront. Jewish and Israel-related themes are woven through camp programming. Staff to camper ratios are low. Sessions: 2, 3-1/2 & 7 weeks.
Camp Killooleet
Residential coed summer camp
Camp Killooleet, a summer camp for boys and girls ages 9 - 14, is nestled into a beautiful corner of the Green Mountain National Forest in Hancock, Vermont. For over 80 years it has been owned and run by educators who know and listen to children. Killooleet is a "traditional camp" (varied activities, full season, weekly hikes and two overnight trips) that goes its own way in a non-traditional manner. Camp is non-competitive and highly individual. Strong cabin groups are built through working and playing together. With about 100 campers, Killooleet is small enough so that everyone knows each other and friendships develop between campers of different ages who share the same interests.
At Killooleet, half the activities are in sports (waterfront, team and individual) and half are in studio and performing arts. We all explore the beauty of Vermont for ten days over the summer, on foot, bicycle, canoe and horseback.
Maine Arts Camp

Located on Unity College's environmentally based campus, we are a small, inclusive community, offering high quality instruction in visual & performing arts, technology, special interest activities and individual/lifetime sports. We foster a non-competitive atmosphere where campers feel comfortable pursuing new interests as they choose from a variety of activities including dance (modern, hip hop, ballet, choreography, tap), drawing/painting, pottery, fabric arts, printmaking, sculpture, metal jewelry, enameling, stained glass, portraiture, fashion design, sewing, mask making, acting, musical theater, chorus, guitar, rock shop, African drumming, digital & film photography, film making, robotics, rocketry, culinary arts, environmental education, gardening, woodworking, kayaking/canoeing, archery, road & mountain biking, martial arts, yoga and fitness.
Our director and assistant director make it a priority to communicate actively with parents and stay involved in the day-to-day camp operations. Two 2-week sessions (ages 8-15), plus a specialty week add on (ages 11-15).

Founded in 1919, Winnebago is located on 400 acres with two miles of shorefront on pristine Echo Lake. 150 campers come each summer to enjoy the best summer of their lives. We enjoy a 90% return rate, which is proof of how much fun camp is and how much campers get from the Winnebago experience.
How to measure value at camp? Ask the child, and they answer "fun". Ask the adult and they answer "values" and "healthy relationships". We are committed to these terms and how easily they work together. Children want and like a certain program structure. Alfred University's residential summer programs offer in-depth instruction in Astronomy, Art Portfolio Prep, Creative Writing, Chemistry, Computers, Engineering, Entrepreneurship, Robotics, Theater, Equestrian and Swimming. Classes, taught by distinguished members of the University faculty, are kept small to allow for lots of individualized attention. When not in class, campers enjoy participating in fun recreational activities along with taking time to relax and get to know one another. Out-of-class supervision is provided by our team of Resident Assistants, who are specially trained to serve as camp counselors, positive role models, mentors and friends.
Our campus is located in a safe, peaceful village in western New York State, surrounded by rolling hills and beautiful meadows and valleys. We go on many exciting trips exploring the Adirondack high peaks, white water rafting down unspoiled rivers, plus sea plane rides and theme parks with roller coasters and giant water slides!
Everyday you can go horseback riding, tubing, ATVing, play paintball, do our high ropes course and all land and water sports, you can start a rock band or get creative in our fine arts building.
