Camp Lee MarLocated in the beautiful Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania, Camp Lee Mar is a private residential special needs camp for children and teenagers with mild to moderate learning and developmental challenges. A structured environment, individual attention and guidance are emphasized at all times. Campers enjoy traditional camp activities PLUS academics, speech and language therapy, music and art therapy, daily living skills, sensory-motor-perceptual training, and computers. We also have therapeutic horseback riding, a Zip Line and overnight trips. Camp HighlanderCamp Highlander is a co-ed residential summer camp devoted to the growing and nurturing of boys and girls, ages 5-16 in a safe, fun-filled environment since 1957. Located in the North Carolina mountains, our goal is to give children memories to fill their hearts, friendships to last a lifetime, and achievements to give them confidence while encouraging them to build character and strong values that will remain with them always. Our program consists of over 35 activities with five primary disciplines including sports, waterfront, arts, horseback riding and wilderness experience. Cub Creek Science and Animal CampYes, we really do have monkeys and 100's of other animals. We are an animal lovers dream come true! Our curiosity guided programs offer a safe place to interact with over 300 animals! 26 week long courses include; Jr Vet, Adopt an Animal, Pottery, CSI, Archery, Survival Skills, Cooking, Crafts, Fishing, Riflery, Build it yourself physics lab and so much more.
Campers come from all over the world. Airport transportation available from the St. Louis International Airport. Located on 240 acres of oak/hickory forest. Our camp offers; modern air-conditioned cabins, swimming pool, fishing ponds, miles of hiking trails and it's own camp zoo.
Gwynn Valley CampSince 1935, a summer camp for Boys and Girls, ages 5-14 which offers a farm, wilderness and traditional program that nurtures the child while fostering a connection with the land and the simple joys of childhood. The strength of Gwynn Valley is its nurturing environment in a child centered world where each camper will learn and grow under the guideance of a mature and caring staff. We are committed to each individual becoming a vital part of the community. Simplicity, acceptance, a non-competitive program, and an appreciation of the natural world are our core values. We maintain a camper/staff ratio of 3:1. Our residential camp offers sessions of 1, 2, and 3 weeks in length. We grow 70% of our food on our farm and operate an 1890's Grist Mill as an extension of that program. We also have a small Day Camp for children K-4th grade.
