Camp Kippewa for Girls

Experience customized camping at Camp Kippewa, a unique all-girls overnight camp in Maine for ages 7 to 15. In each 4-week session, girls create their own weekly schedule from a tremendous array of activities, participating in six activity blocks daily.
The Arts program offers over 20 disciplines of fine arts & crafts and dance & theater. Onsite horseback riding facilities host an unbeatable Equestrian program where campers can ride daily. World of Discovery Day Camp

ESRA Summer Programs
Residential Coed Film ProgramESRA Summer Programs are short programs designed for teens or college students who are interested in filmmaking and audiovisual. Our Manhattan location welcomes students for 1 week to 4 weeks program for acquiring strong basics on softwares like Final Cut Pro or Pro Tools or write, shoot and direct a short movie.
A program on French cinema is also available. Our faculty are all professionals and teachers from major American universities. Our equipment is less than 2 years old. Students learn to complete their own production during most of our programs.
Camp Northwood

Camp Northwood is oriented toward children with low self-esteem, immature social skill development, learning challenges and Asperger's Syndrome in need of a structured and supportive summer experience. Northwood's program focuses on the development of independence, social skills and self-image.
Campers participate in a non-competitive, socially oriented, "main-streamed" styled program. A 2:1 camper/counselor ratio provides a level of individualization at activities and in the cabin setting insuring success. In addition to traditional camp activities, campers participate in an individually designed academic program intended to help maintain current skill levels throughout the summer.
Northwood campers are exposed to a variety of social experiences designed to foster age-appropriate social skill development. Group social skill sessions and constant reinforcement within the cabin setting cultivate growth in each camper's ability to work as part of a team, interpret social situations and feel a sense of inclusion in our camp community.

Our camp staff comes from a variety of Christian faith backgrounds including Baptist, Methodist, Wesleyan, Presbyterian, Charismatic, Lutheran and an assortment of non-denominational churches.
We practice a strict policy of avoiding denominational differences in Biblical discussions with your campers. We make every effort to ensure campers from diverse backgrounds feel welcome, loved and treated with the respect that Jesus would offer them.
Our message is very simple and evangelistic in nature. We preach Christ crucified for our sins, resurrected for our eternal salvation and of His imminent return. The rest of the doctrinal planks are left to the local church and family to instill in the camper.

French Woods Festival was founded in 1970. The program includes dance, theater, music, circus, magic, visual arts, sports, waterfront and horseback riding programs. French Woods offers children from seven to seventeen a unique opportunity to explore their interests and improve their abilities in a wide variety of performing and visual arts as well as more traditional camp activities.
Each child is able to create a unique schedule that caters to their own individual interests and abilities. Children come from across the United States as well as many countries to participate in our extensive program. Regardless of your abilities, there is a place for you in every program at French Woods Festival. You may attend any or all of our three 3 week sessions.
Camp Sequoia

Camp Sequoia is an overnight summer camp for children ages 8-17 who need help with social skills. Located on the beautiful campus of the Hill School in Pottstown, PA (40 miles northwest of Philadelphia, PA) our innovative program utilizes Michelle Garcia Winner's Social Thinking® framework to help campers build their social thinking skills through a traditional camp program. Camp Sequoia is filling an unmet need in the overnight camp market for children who do not need the level of support offered at special needs overnight camps yet need more than a traditional overnight camp can offer.
Most of our campers are diagnosed with ADHD, mild Asperger's syndrome, high-functioning autism or learning differences which effect social cognition. Our campers come from across the U.S.A. and internationally to be with us in the summer. Camp Sequoia has been featured in the Philadelphia Inquirer newspaper as well as various online publications. O-AT-KA, founded in 1906, is a traditional boys summer camp located on Sebago Lake. O-AT-KA provides a nurturing and supportive environment for boys ages 8-16. The camp offers superb land and water-sports, along with a strong arts program headquartered in an eight-studio arts center. Netop (nee-tope, meaning "friend") is a traditional overnight camp for boys (8-15) located in Casco Maine. On 100 acres and a magnificent private lake, Netop offers a wide range of sports, water activities, wilderness trips and arts, such as rock band, drama, woodcrafts and film-making. Longacre Leadership

Longacre Leadership is a summer program for teenagers ages 12-18. We are based on a 200-acre farm in central Pennsylvania. Longacre offers two summer sessions, four-weeks and six-weeks. Both begin July 1st.
Here are three things you should know about Longacre. One, you'll have a lot of choice. We offer farming, gardening, horseback riding, community service, the arts, outdoor adventure, and athletics. You choose what you do every day. Two, we offer a lot of support. Longacre is about building lasting friendships. Our staff give teenagers the support they need: the confidence to take a risk, the encouragement to do a favor, the patience to work in a team. Three, we teach communication skills. Direct communication can be hard. We give teenagers the confidence to clarify their thoughts and then the skills to communicate.
Notes: Longacre promotes diversity. Enrollment is capped at 72 teenagers.
Camp Invention

The Camp Invention program is a nationally acclaimed weeklong summer enrichment day experience for children entering in grades one through six that is free to schools and organizations nationwide. The top priority of the Camp Invention program is to provide quality enrichment programming in the fields of science, mathematics, history, and the arts.
Local schools host the program and the week's hands-on activities are led by local teachers to ensure a safe learning environment. The staff to child ratio is 1:8! The Camp Invention program enhances a child's ability to learn through teamwork and subject immersion while cultivating a new appreciation for discovery - it's learning disguised as fun!
Usdan Center for the Creative and Performing Arts
Coed Day Camp
Usdan Center for the Creative and Performing Arts (www.usdan.com) is the arts day camp declared a "Best Of" camp by TimeOutNY/Kids, NY Metro Parents, and Long Island Press. The 2012 season begins on June 25th at the Center's 200-acre woodland campus on Long Island. Usdan is open to young people ages 6 to 18, and no audition is required - rather, admission is based on an expression of interest in the arts. Each summer, 1,600 students travel to the Center each day on air-conditioned buses that depart from neighborhoods throughout the New York metropolitan area.
Usdan was formed to provide the arts as a companion for life through great teaching and the camaraderie of fellow students whose common bond is their love of the arts. Usdan offers more than 40 programs in Music, Theater, Dance, Visual Arts, Nature, Chess, and Writing. Although Usdan's mission is for every child to establish a skill-based relationship with the arts, the unique stimulation of the Center has caused many to go on to professional careers. Alumni include singers Mariah Carey, Natalie Portman, and jazz singer Jane Monheit, as well as members of major music, theater, and dance ensembles throughout the world.
Forrestel Farm Riding & Sports Camp

Forrestel Riding & Sports Camp is a fully accredited ACA premiere English riding camp established in1980. We offer one, two and four week sessions ages 7-16 some co-ed and some just for girls. Our historic 800 acre working farm is located 40 miles east of Niagara Falls, NY. Our international and local riding counselors are all qualified, experienced and passionate about teaching our campers to ride. Riding instruction at Forrestel includes structured ring work and cross country riding.
Our campers can choose to ride once or twice daily. Each child is assigned their own horse. Forrestel Riding & Sports Camp programs are designed to help campers develop confidence and explore new opportunities. We limit our enrollment which enables us to have more one on one time with each child. In addition to riding, campers can choose from a multitude of other activities such as tennis, woodworking, paddling, arts and crafts, team sports and more.

Camp Betsey Cox is a rustic, outdoors experience for young women growing up in our global world. Betsey Cox intertwines traditional camping with a commitment to programs which develop skills necessary for girls who hope to make a difference in the future. The Camp's strong believe in individual choice has created an unusual and unique program of daily electives. Each girl is in charge of her own choices and the whole camp community treats her right to plan her own day as an important freedom and responsibility.

Camp Ramaquois

Camp Ramaquois is tucked into the foothills of the Ramapo Mountains in Pomona, New York (Rockland County). Tall trees, rolling hills, babbling brooks, and mountain ranges surround our magnificent 44 acres and our 5 acre, crystalline spring-fed lake. We are only 30 minutes from the George Washington Bridge via the scenic Palisades Parkway and 15 minutes from the Tappan Zee Bridge.
Our main goal is to provide Ramaquois campers with a healthy, happy and rewarding summer experience. Each child's camp experience plays a very important role in his/her maturation. Our campers are encouraged to experience new skills, work with their peers and counselors, develop independence and assume responsibility.
Camp Lee Mar

Located in the beautiful Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania, Camp Lee Mar is a private residential special needs camp for children and teenagers with mild to moderate learning and developmental challenges. A structured environment, individual attention and guidance are emphasized at all times. Campers enjoy traditional camp activities PLUS academics, speech and language therapy, music and art therapy, daily living skills, sensory-motor-perceptual training, and computers. We also have therapeutic horseback riding, a Zip Line and overnight trips. Camp Timanous

After a summer at Timanous, boys return home more independent, self-confident, and self-sufficient. With 125 campers, we know each boy by name and can respond to their personal needs. Located on a beautiful lake in Southern Maine with one mile of shorefront. 90% of our staff were former Timanous campers, averaging over 10 years at camp. 26 states and 11 countries were represented in 2011. Campers choose from a variety of activities including sailing, canoeing, kayaking, water-skiing,soccer, riflery, tennis, archery, lacrosse, wood working, pottery, handicrafts. We also have a strong camping trip program. We have a very high return rate of both campers and counselors.

The Nature Place Day Camp
Coed Day CampThe Nature Place is a non-competitive, nature-oriented summer day camp for children ages 4-16, located in Rockland County, NY. Through hands-on, outdoor play and learning and cooperative rather than competitive games, we encourage within each of our campers a sense of wonder towards the natural world.

Nestled on the sandy beaches of beautiful Lake Ossipee amidst the White Mountains of New Hampshire, Cody offers a summer experience rich in fun, friendship, learning and adventure. Cody is a traditional summer camp for both girls and boys - campers range in age from seven to fifteen. Camp Cody is situated on nearly one hundred acres of naturally wooded property and a mile of superb sandy shoreline on Lake Ossipee. Our lake is four miles long and two miles wide with a natural sand bottom and is warm and clear. Our magnificent National Forest setting provides us with unlimited outdoor opportunities, in addition to the many in-camp activities we offer.

When you sign up for our traditional sleep away camp, you get to make your own schedule and choose the activities you like most! Our great activities include windsurfing/sailing, archery, arts & crafts, canoeing, rock climbing, dance, drama, in-line skating, kayaking, high and low-ropes courses, snorkeling, street hockey, swimming, voice, guitar, and of course tons of other sports options. We also have a horseback riding camp and other specialty camps for tennis, fine arts, sailing/windsurfing. Some of these specialty camps are only for boys and others are only for girls. Camp Kodiak is an integrated, non-competitive camp serving children and teens with and without LD, ADHD, NLD and Asperger Syndrome. Our campers range in age from 6 to 18. Our program includes a SOCIAL SKILLS PROGRAM, an ACADEMIC PROGRAM and over 50 sports & activities. We build confidence and self-esteem by structuring all activities, athletic, artistic and social, to ensure success. Our staff includes teachers, psychologists, social workers, child & youth workers and recreation specialists. Our camper-to-staff ratio is 2-to-1 and our cabin groups are small.
We are located 2 1/2 hours northeast of Toronto in the beautiful Parry Sound vacation area. Our facilities include modern, lakefront, log cabins with full bathrooms and showers, 425 acres of land and 2 1/2 miles of lakefront. Our extensive indoor and outdoor facilities mean that the fun never stops, rain or shine. We are accredited members of the Ontario Camps Association and the Canadian Camping Association.
In 2007, at parents' request, we started a program for campers age 19 and over.

Wellspring New York is the only weight loss program exclusively for young women, between the ages of 11-24. At Wellspring New York, you'll make lifelong friends with young women your own age, at a summer weight loss program that will change your life. Wellspring New York offers a 3 week, 6 week or 9 week program.
Because you'll be losing weight alongside young women just like you, you'll find the environment extremely safe and supportive. The young women of Wellspring New York are divided into the separate programs of Lower Camp, Middle Camp, and Upper Camp (18 and older). Wellspring New York utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy in individual and group sessions to maximize weight loss and long-term behavioral change. The cognitive behavioral therapy continues after camp ends through a three-month after-care weight loss program.

Sangamon is a really different kind of boys' camp, not based on sports or competition. Sangamon's entire program is elective every day. Each camper creates a personal schedule each day from more than 15 instructional activities and trips. Located in the foothills of New Hampshire's White Mountains, the Cardigan Mountain School Summer Session combines academic review and enrichment with all of the recreation and fun of a traditional summer camp for boys and birls in grades 3-9. In the mornings, students can hone their skills in math or reading; work on study skills, note taking or test prep; or challenge themselves through literature, rocketry, robotics or foreign language courses.
Classes in music, pottery, drama, and photography highlight the arts program, and Cougar Clinics give students the opportunity to practice a favorite sport or learn a new one. With so many choices, each student can design his or her ideal summer experience. We offer a well rounded equestrian camp program along with water skiing, tennis, arts and crafts and a heated pool.
Our campers ride three hours a day, six days a week. This intensive program allows our campers to experience success in graduated steps, promoting their self esteem and confidence. Since all of our campers love horses, their common interest allows them to make new friends right away. Our equestrian camp also offers riding during the winter at our stable at the Windsor Equestrian Center in Vero Beach, FL and at the El Venado Polo Ranch in Argentina. Separate Teen Campus: Cayuga provides two separate programs geared to the different age groups on each campus. Teen Campus is reserved exclusively for teenagers who are entering 8th and higher. Junior Campus houses campers entering 1st to 8th grade who are age 13 and younger.
Create Your Own Activity Schedule: Campers select their own activities each morning after breakfast. You sign-up for activities with your friends, so you can attend the same activities together. Juniors (4th grade and lower) travel together as a cabin group to activities under the direct supervision of their counselor. The cabin activity schedule is different each day of the week!

Our dynamic learning program, with classes in music, theater, dance, visual arts, photography, video, recording arts, and creative writing, sports and swim, places emphasis on the creative process, hands-on learning and collaborative projects as campers work toward performances and exhibitions for their families to enjoy at the end of each session.
