Camp Friendship was founded in 1966 and is still managed by the Ackenbom family. This is a place where campers come back to year after year to visit with old friends and make new ones, supporting our motto "Enter here to be and find a friend". Camp Friendship is more than just fun and games, we also cater to the development needs of our campers. Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains on 520 acres Camp Friendship offers a variety of programs for boys and girls ages 7-16. Traditional camp programs for Juniors and Teens offer more than 40 activities for campers to choose from to create a fun and fulfilling summer.

Our campers can mix and match one-week sessions with VIVA! Trips for teens or add a half-day Sports Clinic including Tennis, Golf, Gymnastics, Soccer, and Waterskiing instructed by qualified instructors. For the girls who just love horses, the Equestrian Program with more than 80 camp-owned horses is the camp program for them! The Camp Friendship staff and its campers have represented over 80 different countries over our 45 years for a diverse cultural interaction.

Wilderness adventure program

Join us for an Adventure Camp experience like no other! Cheerio Adventures specializes in camp sessions from 3 days up to 14 days of unforgettable adventures. We are a Christian based adventure camp located in the mountains of SW Virginia along the New River. The camp is for boys and girls ages 10-17. All groups consist of 8-12 participants, to maximize the adventure experience and promote strong and long lasting friendships. Camp Highlander is a co-ed residential summer camp devoted to the growing and nurturing of boys and girls, ages 5-16 in a safe, fun-filled environment since 1957. YMCA Camp Fitch is located on the shores of Lake Erie in NW Pennsylvania. Camp Fitch is a combination of a large traditional summer camp, a tripping program and specialty camps.

Bluestone Summer Camp

Bluestone offers four one week camping sessions in June and July. Our Resident Program will accomodate youth entering 3rd through 10th Grade, and our Trip Camps are for high school youth entering 10th through 12th Grades.

Our Summer Camping Program is based on a small group philosophy, which consists of one female and one male counselor to a group of around 10-12 kids. A week at Bluestone will provide campers with excellent opportunities for spiritual and personal growth, for meeting new friends, learning new skills, and challenging themselves.

In addition to daily arts and crafts, swim time and song time, Resident Campers have a daily bible study based on the theme of the summer. Residential Girls' Fitness and Weight Loss Camp

Wellspring New York is the only weight loss program exclusively for young women, between the ages of 11-24. At Wellspring New York, you'll make lifelong friends with young women your own age, at a summer weight loss program that will change your life. Wellspring New York offers a 3 week, 6 week or 9 week program.

Because you'll be losing weight alongside young women just like you, you'll find the environment extremely safe and supportive. The young women of Wellspring New York are divided into the separate programs of Lower Camp, Middle Camp, and Upper Camp (18 and older).
