Camp Ramaquois is tucked into the foothills of the Ramapo Mountains in Pomona, New York (Rockland County). Tall trees, rolling hills, babbling brooks, and mountain ranges surround our magnificent 44 acres and our 5 acre, crystalline spring-fed lake. We are only 30 minutes from the George Washington Bridge via the scenic Palisades Parkway and 15 minutes from the Tappan Zee Bridge.
Our main goal is to provide Ramaquois campers with a healthy, happy and rewarding summer experience. Each child's camp experience plays a very important role in his/her maturation. Outward Bound, a national nonprofit organization, offers over 500 adventure-based courses - year round - serving adults, teens and youth (ages 12+).
Course activities include rock climbing, sea kayaking, backpacking, mountaineering, sailing, dogsledding, canoeing and rafting in some of the most untouched wilderness areas across the nation. No matter the activity, courses focus on learning through experience, compassion, leadership and responsibility to both team and the environment. Courses range in length from 4 days to three months in length. Scholarships are available.

Camp Kodiak

Camp Kodiak is an integrated, non-competitive camp serving children and teens with and without LD, ADHD, NLD and Asperger Syndrome. Our campers range in age from 6 to 18. Our program includes a SOCIAL SKILLS PROGRAM, an ACADEMIC PROGRAM and over 50 sports & activities. We build confidence and self-esteem by structuring all activities, athletic, artistic and social, to ensure success. Our staff includes teachers, psychologists, social workers, child & youth workers and recreation specialists. Our camper-to-staff ratio is 2-to-1 and our cabin groups are small.
We are located 2 1/2 hours northeast of Toronto in the beautiful Parry Sound vacation area. Our facilities include modern, lakefront, log cabins with full bathrooms and showers, 425 acres of land and 2 1/2 miles of lakefront. Our extensive indoor and outdoor facilities mean that the fun never stops, rain or shine. We are accredited members of the Ontario Camps Association and the Canadian Camping Association.
In 2007, at parents' request, we started a program for campers age 19 and over.

French Woods Festival was founded in 1970. The program includes dance, theater, music, circus, magic, visual arts, sports, waterfront and horseback riding programs. French Woods offers children from seven to seventeen a unique opportunity to explore their interests and improve their abilities in a wide variety of performing and visual arts as well as more traditional camp activities.
Each child is able to create a unique schedule that caters to their own individual interests and abilities. Located on over 600 acres of scenic woodlands adjacent to the Delaware Water Gap, Camp Mason offers a unique blend of traditional and adventure summer camp experiences. Campers choose their own activities, including: field sports (baseball, basketball, football, soccer), target sports (archery, riflery), swimming (instructional, competitive), boating (canoes, kayaks, rowboats), and the arts (crafts, painting, pottery, ceramics, music, dance, photography). In each 4-week session, girls create their own weekly schedule from a tremendous array of activities, participating in six activity blocks daily.
The Arts program offers over 20 disciplines of fine arts & crafts and dance & theater. Onsite horseback riding facilities host an unbeatable Equestrian program where campers can ride daily. Lake Cobbosseecontee is the perfect setting for top-notch Water Sports instruction in waterskiing, sailing, windsurfing, canoeing and kayaking. The program also offers a variety of Land Sports including tennis, gymnastics, softball and lacrosse. Residential Girls' Fitness and Weight Loss Camp
Wellspring New York is the only weight loss program exclusively for young women, between the ages of 11-24. At Wellspring New York, you'll make lifelong friends with young women your own age, at a summer weight loss program that will change your life, on the beautiful and comfortable campus of Paul Smith's College right on Lower St. Regis Lake in the Adirondack Mountains of New York State (close to Lake Placid). Wellspring New York offers a 4 week, 6 week or 8 week program.
Because you'll be losing weight alongside young women just like you, you'll find the environment extremely safe and supportive. The young women of Wellspring New York are divided into the separate programs of Lower Camp, Middle Camp, and Upper Camp (18 and older). Wellspring New York utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy in individual and group sessions to maximize weight loss and long-term behavioral change. The cognitive behavioral therapy continues after camp ends through a three-month after-care weight loss program.

When you sign up for our traditional sleepaway camp, you get to make your own schedule and choose the activities you like most! Our great activities include windsurfing/sailing, archery, arts & crafts, canoeing, rock climbing, dance, drama, in-line skating, kayaking, riflery, high and low-ropes courses, snorkeling, street hockey, swimming, voice, guitar, and of course tons of other sports options. Extensive facilities and programs include: Lighted tennis and basketball courts, baseball, soccer, lacrosse, professional theater, 13,000 square foot recreation center, fitness pavilion and gymnastic center, two craft studios, photography lab, media center, archery & riflery ranges, nature center, high ropes course and climbing tower, radio station, state-of-the art waterfront, including 90 canoes, sailboats, kayaks, windsurfers and tournament water-ski boats. Extensive wilderness expeditions and teen programs are available, including white-water rafting and cycling trips, excursions to Montreal as well as throughout New England.

Residential girls' camps
Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence and character, who make the world a better place. We have both day and resident camps where girls spend time learning leadership skills, building self-esteem, hiking, swimming, and learning about the environment.

Activities include water skiing, wind surfing, golf, tennis, archery, go-carting, sailing, lacrosse and more! Campers live in spacious, airy, modern cabins with electricity, hot water, and bathrooms. The 80 acres of grounds include extensive lake frontage, a riding stables, golf course, recreational lodges, athletic fields, tennis courts, archery ranges, craft shops and more!
