Camp Caraway
Residential boys' summer camp
Camp Caraway is a camp for boys, sponsored by the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina. Boys do not need to be Baptist to attend. We also have a Christian backpacking program called Christian High Adventure, featuring male-only and coed trips.
Our camp is located in the beautiful Uwharrie Mountains, seven miles west of Asheboro, North Carolina. Since 1963 more than 50,000 boys have been challenged toward strengthening their Christian walk at Caraway.

Camp Woodmont
Residential coed summer camp
A smaller-sized traditional summer camp with extremely close owner supervision. Camp owner Jane Bennett, along with her two children, camp directors Tyran Bennett and Alyson Bennett Gondek are hands-on camp directors with extensive qualifications (see below).
All counseling staff are college students and undergo extensive interviews, background checks and on-site director-led training including five days of climbing and high ropes training led by nationally known trainers, a four-day American Red Cross Lifeguard, CPR and First Aid certification class led by camp director and Red Cross instructor Tyran Bennett; and Archery certification. Both directors are certified horseback riding instructors and we also send staff to a horseback safety clinic. We top off all this specialty training with a full week of camp policy and activities training immediately prior to camp start.
Our family-type atmosphere means we can get to know every camper; it gives younger campers a feeling of reassurance and belonging and older campers a chance to grow and contribute in a community of support. Our traditional program includes extensive arts/crafts and performing arts as well as sports, aquatics, horseback riding, high adventure and much more.

Rockbrook Camp for Girls
Residential girls' summer camp
Rockbrook Camp is an overnight summer camp for girls located in the mountains of North Carolina. Rockbrook was established in 1921 and currently is welcoming fourth-generation campers. It offers 2, 3 and 4 week sessions to girls, ages 6 to 16.
Campers choose from a wide variety of activities including horseback riding, arts and crafts and outdoor adventure. Activities include: pottery, weaving, painting and drawing, sewing, rock climbing, archery, canoeing, rafting, basketry, jewelry making, backpacking, riflery, and more!

Camp Arrowhead for Boys
Residential Summer Camp for Boys
Located in the mountains of Western North Carolina, Camp Arrowhead is a Christian, high-adventure summer camp for boys ages 6-16. Sessions range from one to seven weeks, and since 1937, generations of campers have experienced life-changing summers at Arrowhead.
Our passion is to help every boy become the man God created him to be. Because we are small, and because we actively create a partnership with parents, we will know the specific hopes and needs of your son. Because we are passionate, your son will benefit from the tremendous excitement, experience and energy of our summer camp staff. And because our team has a boy's heart for fun, your son will find comradary and know that he is loved.
Set along our very own sparkling clear trout stream, Arrowhead has 217 acres of beautiful woodlands, waterfalls, streams, meadows and trails for boys to explore, camp and ride. We also take advantage of over 2 million acres of nearby mountain forests and rivers of National Forest lands.
Boys live in cabins with others their age and our exceptional counselors.
Campers ride horses, Blacksmith, hike, bike, paddle, water-ski, sail and climb the premiere areas within Western NC. Come join our family!

Camp Crestridge
Residential girls' summer camp
Camp Crestridge for Girls is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina. We are a Christian camp with a recreational emphasis. We help our campers to grow physically and mentally through our skill classes, socially through interactions with the staff and their cabinmates, and spiritually through our cabin devotions and Morning Watch times. Our staff are strong Christian role models that are great examples for their campers. We are ACA accredited and members of Christian Camping International. Camp Merrie-Woode

Camp Merrie-Woode is a well established girls' camp which fosters growth and self-confidence in its campers through outdoor adventures and camp activities. Counselors are excited about working with children in a positive way, while focusing on traditional camping in a beautiful mountain setting ideal for outdoor high adventure activities.
Traditional camp activities as well as many adventure experiences in backpacking, caving, rock climbing, ropes course and whitewater canoeing and kayaking. The ten-week program has three sessions (3, 5 and 2week). Activities include: canoeing, kayaking, sailing, climbing, hiking, riding, nature, tennis, drama, studio art, photography, pottery.

Skyline offers one and two week sessions where campers make new friends, honor old traditions, and strengthen their faith. Camp High Rocks

Camp High Rocks is a small camp for boys in the mountains of Western North Carolina. High Rocks is a place for fun and learning, for challenge and adventure, and for living in an environment that is geared to a camper's needs and interests.
Aided by a well-trained staff we seek to teach and inspire lasting skills and values. We offer ongoing opportunities for success, a freedom from inhibiting competitive pressure, and an environment that promotes increased self-esteem and a close sense of community. High Rocks offers the opportunity to grow with one, two, three and four week sessions, each with a higher skill and trip progression.
Activities include: rock climbing, canoeing, kayaking, horseback riding, mountain biking, hiking, arts & crafts, fishing and many more traditional camp activities. Our 1,000 acre facility adjoins a 10,000 acre state forest and Pisgah National Forest.
Camp Victory Military Adventure Camp

Camp Victory is a 3 week Residential Wilderness Camp for boys 7-17 who lack self confidence or who are facing behavioral problems in their families or schools. It is based on the fundamental principles of honesty, teamwork, faith and courage. These ideals bring young men back to the basics and teach them the importance of respect. It is operated in a wilderness setting with minimal conveniences, which serves to maximize opportunities to search one's heart and learn respect and purpose for life. Recruits are challenged to build their own shelters, prepare their own food, and participate in physical and mental competitions that build self-respect and teamwork.

Residential Coed Fitness and Weight Loss Camp
Wellspring Florida provides campers from the Southeast an amazing opportunity to lose weight and get active in a fun, safe, and beautiful environment. On the water of Florida's beautiful Gulf Coast, campers 11 - 18 years old enjoy one of America's top vacation destinations. Taking advantage of the wonderful sunshine, refreshing local waters, and fantastic campus facilities, campers participate in a variety of outdoor activities and watersports. Then, we cool off back on campus in extensive fitness and recreation facilities, including training and aerobic areas, weight rooms, gyms, and swimming pool. Campers share modern, comfortable, air-conditioned dorms as well as dining and common areas.

Green River Preserve
Residential, coed environmental summer camp
Play under waterfalls, track wild animals, explore mountain forests with naturalists. Green River Preserve is a 3400 acre wildlife preserve and summer camp for bright, curious, and creative children. Serving rising 2nd through 9th graders, our camp is nurturing, noncompetitive and purposefully small with enrollment limited to 104. After morning hikes, campers choose from over 20 elective activities including rock climbing, pottery, archery, fly fishing, music, art and drama. 1, 2 and 3 week sessions are available.
For rising 9th through 12 graders, we offer Green River Expeditions- two-week canoeing, backpacking and kayaking adventures which follow the Green River tradition of combining learning with exploration.
Camp Juliette Low
Residential girls' summer camp
Camp Juliette Low is an independent, non-profit camp for girls ages 7 to 17 . Juliette Gordon Low, the founder of the Girl Scouts, hand-picked the location of Camp Juliette Low. The camp is located in the northwest Georgia mountains in one of the most beautiful spots in the Southeast.
Programming includes canoeing, hiking, crafts, nature crafts, outdoor living skills, horseback riding (english), swimming.
SuperCamp
Coed Residential Camp
SuperCamp is an academic and life skills camp that provides powerful, lifelong learning skills and builds motivation, confidence and self-esteem for students age 11-18. We help create a roadmap toward success that students take back to school after camp. SuperCamp is a place of nonstop work and play, learning and growing, classes and outdoor challenges.
Held at 9 prestigious U.S. school campuses: Stanford University, Palo Alto, CA; UCLA and Loyola Marymount, Los Angeles, CA; Brown University, Providence, RI; Loyola University Chicago, Chicago, IL; Kent State, Kent, OH; University of South Floida, Tampa, FL; Wake Forest University, Winston-Salem, NC. 7-day programs are available for middle school students, 10-day programs for high school students and an 8-day program is available for current & incoming college students.
Gwynn Valley Camp
Coed Residential and Day Summer Camp
Since 1935, a summer camp for Boys and Girls, ages 5-14 which offers a farm, wilderness and traditional program that nurtures the child while fostering a connection with the land and the simple joys of childhood. The strength of Gwynn Valley is its nurturing environment in a child centered world where each camper will learn and grow under the guideance of a mature and caring staff. We are committed to each individual becoming a vital part of the community. Simplicity, acceptance, a non-competitive program, and an appreciation of the natural world are our core values. We maintain a camper/staff ratio of 3:1. Our residential camp offers sessions of 1, 2, and 3 weeks in length. We grow 70% of our food on our farm and operate an 1890's Grist Mill as an extension of that program. We also have a small Day Camp for children K-4th grade.
Primary activities at our coed camp include: Horseback Riding, Outdoor Living Skills, Farm, Mountain Biking, Texture Crafts, Rock Climbing, Grist Mill, Waterfront, Whitewater Kayaking and Canoeing, Pioneer Crafts, Sports, Fine Arts, Web of Life, and Backpacking and much more.
Camp Cheerio YMCA
Residential camp with separate girls' and coed sessions
Located high atop the Blue Ridge Mountains of northwest North Carolina, YMCA Camp Cheerio is the ideal place for persons of all ages to enjoy a camping or retreat experience. Camp Cheerio offers many challenging programs, from summer resident (sleepover) and coed adventure camps. With over 20 activities to choose from there is something for everyone.
Founded in 1960 by the YMCA of High Point, North Carolina, Camp Cheerio seeks to provide campers with a sustained, creative, and educational experience in the out-of-doors. Camp Highlander is a co-ed residential summer camp devoted to the growing and nurturing of boys and girls, ages 5-16 in a safe, fun-filled environment since 1957. Located in the North Carolina mountains, our goal is to give children memories to fill their hearts, friendships to last a lifetime, and achievements to give them confidence while encouraging them to build character and strong values that will remain with them always. Our program consists of over 35 activities with five primary disciplines including sports, waterfront, arts, horseback riding and wilderness experience. SOAR, Inc.
Wilderness adventure program
SOAR has provided multi-length, high adventure programs for youth diagnosed with ADHD and/or learning disabilities for over 35 years. Recognizing that the outdoors provides an ideal classroom where relevant learning can occur and life skills can be taught, emphasis is placed on developing self-confidence, social skills, and problem solving techniques. Course are co-ed, and are dveloped for youth ages 8-25 with average to above average intelligence and physical ability. Staff to student ratio is low, and instructors are hired for qualities of maturity, caring and passion for working with our population in the outdoor setting.
Activities vary by location and range from snorkeling and fishing in the Florida keys; backpacking and rafting in the Blue Ridge mountains of NC; surfing and sea kayaking in California; horsepacking and fishing in the Wind River Mountains of Wyoming; to canoeing and rock climbing in the Adirondack mountains of New York. Specialty courses include a trip tropical Belize, learning to whitewater kayak in North Carolina, earning SCUBA certifications in Florida, and even participating in a Wyoming Rodeo! Our Postgraduate program serves young adults ages 18-25.

Camp Kahdalea for Girls (ages 8-17) and Camp Chosatonga for Boys are wilderness camps located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. Located in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains, both camps are surrounded on three sides by the Pisgah National Forest, ensuring a wild and natural setting free from encroachment.
Activities include rock climbing, white water canoeing, mountain biking, backpacking, horseback riding, and more! Strong in-camp and wilderness programs in a Christian setting.
