Alta Mons Outdoor and Retreat Ministry is located in scenic southwest Virginia, is a ministry of the Roanoke District of the United Methodist Church. The 850-acre mountain and valley historic site was formerly a healing springs retreat known as Crockett Springs. Residential Girls' Fitness and Weight Loss Camp

Wellspring New York is the only weight loss program exclusively for young women, between the ages of 11-24. At Wellspring New York, you'll make lifelong friends with young women your own age, at a summer weight loss program that will change your life. Wellspring New York offers a 3 week, 6 week or 9 week program.

Because you'll be losing weight alongside young women just like you, you'll find the environment extremely safe and supportive. The young women of Wellspring New York are divided into the separate programs of Lower Camp, Middle Camp, and Upper Camp (18 and older). Wellspring New York utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy in individual and group sessions to maximize weight loss and long-term behavioral change. The cognitive behavioral therapy continues after camp ends through a three-month after-care weight loss program.

Since 1935, a summer camp for Boys and Girls, ages 5-14 which offers a farm, wilderness and traditional program that nurtures the child while fostering a connection with the land and the simple joys of childhood. The strength of Gwynn Valley is its nurturing environment in a child centered world where each camper will learn and grow under the guideance of a mature and caring staff. Bluestone offers four one week camping sessions in June and July. Our Resident Program will accomodate youth entering 3rd through 10th Grade, and our Trip Camps are for high school youth entering 10th through 12th Grades.

Our Summer Camping Program is based on a small group philosophy, which consists of one female and one male counselor to a group of around 10-12 kids. Nestled within 700 acres of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, Camp Roanoke is conveniently located just off Interstate 81 exit 132. Since 1925, our campers have enjoyed outdoor adventures such as canoeing, field games, hiking, campfires and a challenge course complete with a 44-foot climbing tower. Alta Mons Outdoor and Retreat Ministry is located in scenic southwest Virginia, is a ministry of the Roanoke District of the United Methodist Church. The 850-acre mountain and valley historic site was formerly a healing springs retreat known as Crockett Springs. Alta Mons is now a modern camp and retreat center offering a wide variety of programs and year round facility options. We have accomodations for 200+ in the summer and 85+ in the winter. We can provide space for your group's retreat, or let us do everything from the group/teambuilding to the food.
