Camp High Rocks
Residential boys' summer camp
Camp High Rocks is a small camp for boys in the mountains of Western North Carolina. High Rocks is a place for fun and learning, for challenge and adventure, and for living in an environment that is geared to a camper's needs and interests.
Aided by a well-trained staff we seek to teach and inspire lasting skills and values. We offer ongoing opportunities for success, a freedom from inhibiting competitive pressure, and an environment that promotes increased self-esteem and a close sense of community. High Rocks offers the opportunity to grow with one, two, three and four week sessions, each with a higher skill and trip progression.
Activities include: rock climbing, canoeing, kayaking, horseback riding, mountain biking, hiking, arts & crafts, fishing and many more traditional camp activities. Our 1,000 acre facility adjoins a 10,000 acre state forest and Pisgah National Forest.

Residential camp with separate girls' and coed sessions
Located high atop the Blue Ridge Mountains of northwest North Carolina, YMCA Camp Cheerio is the ideal place for persons of all ages to enjoy a camping or retreat experience. Camp Cheerio offers many challenging programs, from summer resident (sleepover) and coed adventure camps. With over 20 activities to choose from there is something for everyone.
Founded in 1960 by the YMCA of High Point, North Carolina, Camp Cheerio seeks to provide campers with a sustained, creative, and educational experience in the out-of-doors. Our curiosity guided programs offer a safe place to interact with over 300 animals! 26 week long courses include; Jr Vet, Adopt an Animal, Pottery, CSI, Archery, Survival Skills, Cooking, Crafts, Fishing, Riflery, Build it yourself physics lab and so much more.
Campers come from all over the world. Airport transportation available from the St. Louis International Airport. Located on 240 acres of oak/hickory forest. Our camp offers; modern air-conditioned cabins, swimming pool, fishing ponds, miles of hiking trails and it's own camp zoo.
Camp of the Rising Son

For over 30 years, Camp of the Rising Son has provided a Christ-centered residential summer camp to reach out to youths through focus on building relationships, experiencing creation, encouraging creativity, and having fun. Campers ages 7-12 can experience a week of traditional summer camp jam-packed with excitement. Teens choose among a variety of adventures ranging from Rafting for ages 13-16, Horse Camp for ages 13-17, and Astronomy Camp for ages 13-16 to the Camp Intern Adventure for ages 15-17

Each week of resident camp is jam-packed full of excitement, activities, and fun.
MindStretch Travel Adventures
Boys' Adventure Travel Program
MindStretch Travel Adventures offers adventure travel programs for boys ages 9 and older. Boys participate in camp-type activities during the day such as hiking, exploring, geocaching, rafting, canoeing, horseback riding, and mountain biking. And they also get to spend time just being tourists in some of the greatest scenic areas in the United States and abroad.
Trips vary in length from 7 to 21 days depending on year and destination. In the evening boys stay in motels (most with pools) and enjoy a dinner in a sit-down restaurant. Destinations include: Wyoming, Montana, Colorado, New England, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Canada, and more. Every two or three years MindStretch Travel Adventures offers a unique opportunity to travel through Europe by Eurail. Boys pick and choose where they want to visit and get there by Europe's fantastic train system.

Adamah Adventures
Wilderness Adventure - United States
Adamah Adventures is an outdoor adventure summer program for Jewish teens. We help our campers develop self-confidence, independence, and a sense of adventure while building a strong community focused on environmentalism and the joy of Jewish life. During the 18-day trek, campers work in small groups alongside highly trained staff members to experience both the thrill and the quiet; the whitewater and the campfire; in some of the most awe-inspiring places in the country.
Adamah Adventures now offers four treks to choose from. The first trek is to the lush landscape of the Blue Ridge Mountains (Georgia, Tennessee, and South Carolina). The second adventure visits the mountains and coast of North Carolina on the Peaks and Paddles Trek. The third trek to the Pacific Northwest features snow-capped mountain peaks and wild ocean beaches. Our fourth trek, Oregon Service, allows 10th-12th graders to make a difference while exploring the mountains and craters of Oregon. Camp Arrowhead for Boys

Located in the mountains of Western North Carolina, Camp Arrowhead is a Christian, high-adventure summer camp for boys ages 6-16. Sessions range from one to seven weeks, and since 1937, generations of campers have experienced life-changing summers at Arrowhead.
Our passion is to help every boy become the man God created him to be. Because we are small, and because we actively create a partnership with parents, we will know the specific hopes and needs of your son. Set along our very own sparkling clear trout stream, Arrowhead has 217 acres of beautiful woodlands, waterfalls, streams, meadows and trails for boys to explore, camp and ride. We also take advantage of over 2 million acres of nearby mountain forests and rivers of National Forest lands.
Boys live in cabins with others their age and our exceptional counselors.
Campers ride horses, Blacksmith, hike, bike, paddle, water-ski, sail and climb the premiere areas within Western NC. Come join our family!
Cheerio Adventures
Wilderness adventure program
Join us for an Adventure Camp experience like no other! Cheerio Adventures specializes in camp sessions from 3 days up to 14 days of unforgettable adventures. We are a Christian based adventure camp located in the mountains of SW Virginia along the New River. The camp is for boys and girls ages 10-17. All groups consist of 8-12 participants, to maximize the adventure experience and promote strong and long lasting friendships. Our focus on helping young people learn more about themselves, strengthen self-confidence, leadership, teamwork skills, is accomplished while challenging them in a safe and fun Christian setting. All equipment is provided.
Trips take place in NC, TN, VA and WV. Activities include rock climbing, canoeing, kayaking, whitewater rafting, backpacking, caving, mountain biking, sailing, wind surfing and more.

At this residential high adventure and sports camp, boys learn to feel with their heart, do with their hands and live together in the spirit of brotherhood. Wilderness adventure program
SOAR has provided multi-length, high adventure programs for youth diagnosed with ADHD and/or learning disabilities for over 35 years. Recognizing that the outdoors provides an ideal classroom where relevant learning can occur and life skills can be taught, emphasis is placed on developing self-confidence, social skills, and problem solving techniques. Course are co-ed, and are dveloped for youth ages 8-25 with average to above average intelligence and physical ability. Staff to student ratio is low, and instructors are hired for qualities of maturity, caring and passion for working with our population in the outdoor setting.
Activities vary by location and range from snorkeling and fishing in the Florida keys; backpacking and rafting in the Blue Ridge mountains of NC; surfing and sea kayaking in California; horsepacking and fishing in the Wind River Mountains of Wyoming; to canoeing and rock climbing in the Adirondack mountains of New York. Specialty courses include a trip tropical Belize, learning to whitewater kayak in North Carolina, earning SCUBA certifications in Florida, and even participating in a Wyoming Rodeo! Our Postgraduate program serves young adults ages 18-25.

Doe River Gorge Christian Camp

Doe River Gorge was created for kids and teenagers to have a phenomenal experience that we hope will leave them with that "I-can't-believe-it's-real" feeling. Located in the beautiful mountains and Cherokee National Forest in Northeast Tennessee, Doe River Gorge offers summer camp options for 8-18 year old students. By engaging in amazing adventure, making lifelong friends, learning from qualified and passionate counselors, enjoying quiet time, sleeping in state-of-the-art lodges, experiencing awesome music and teaching, developing various skills, and eating delicious meals, Doe River Gorge is a place where young people can grow spiritually, physically, mentally, and socially. Most of the students who attend camp at Doe River Gorge continue to come back year after year because they experience a healthy balance of fun, adventure, acceptance, and love. Green River Preserve
Residential, coed environmental summer camp
Play under waterfalls, track wild animals, explore mountain forests with naturalists. Green River Preserve is a 3400 acre wildlife preserve and summer camp for bright, curious, and creative children. Serving rising 2nd through 9th graders, our camp is nurturing, noncompetitive and purposefully small with enrollment limited to 104. After morning hikes, campers choose from over 20 elective activities including rock climbing, pottery, archery, fly fishing, music, art and drama. 1, 2 and 3 week sessions are available.
For rising 9th through 12 graders, we offer Green River Expeditions- two-week canoeing, backpacking and kayaking adventures which follow the Green River tradition of combining learning with exploration.

Holston Presbytery Camp is 152 acres of beautiful woods in the High Country of North Carolina. Within God's beautiful creation, Holston Presbytery (NE Tennessee) and Abingdon Presbytery (SW Virginia) offer a perfect setting for outdoor ministry. With Wildcat Lake, hiking trails, cool mountain weather, and the splendor or natural wonders, Holston Camp offers an inspiring outdoor environment for 8-17 year olds.
Holston Camp provides many outdoor camping experiences from: backpacking, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, rock climbing, outdoor cooking and Dutch Oven cooking. Campers have daily activities such as: Bible study, Arts and Crafts, swimming, boating, recreation and all camp activities like Theme Day and Talent Night.
