Camp Friendship
Coed residential camp
Camp Friendship was founded in 1966 and is still managed by the Ackenbom family. This is a place where campers come back to year after year to visit with old friends and make new ones, supporting our motto "Enter here to be and find a friend". Camp Friendship is more than just fun and games, we also cater to the development needs of our campers. Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains on 520 acres Camp Friendship offers a variety of programs for boys and girls ages 7-16. Traditional camp programs for Juniors and Teens offer more than 40 activities for campers to choose from to create a fun and fulfilling summer.
Our campers can mix and match one-week sessions with VIVA! Trips for teens or add a half-day Sports Clinic including Tennis, Golf, Gymnastics, Soccer, and Waterskiing instructed by qualified instructors. For the girls who just love horses, the Equestrian Program with more than 80 camp-owned horses is the camp program for them! The Camp Friendship staff and its campers have represented over 80 different countries over our 45 years for a diverse cultural interaction.

Wellspring Adventure Weight Loss Camp in North Carolina combines Wellspring's renowned weight loss approach with adventure and activity. With exciting outdoor activities such as climbing, rafting, camping, hiking, and swimming holes, as well as more traditional camp activities, Adventure Camp provides unparalleled weight loss.
From our camp tucked in the valley of the Blue Ridge Mountains, campers leave for week-long adventures throughout the Carolinas and Tennessee. Nutrition and culinary classes paired with the delicious food served in the dining hall guarantee knowledge of and love for new foods. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with a "BC" (Behavioral Coach) in group and individual sessions knits these elements together into comprehensive lifestyle change for rapid weight loss and long-term weight control.

YMCA Camp Fitch is located on the shores of Lake Erie in NW Pennsylvania. Camp Fitch is a combination of a large traditional summer camp, a tripping program and specialty camps.
Traditional camp has a very strong aquatic program on three different waterfronts and a large variety of other activities such as horses, crafts, archery, rock climbing, and many sports. Specialty camps include computer, soccer and competitive swimming. Our trips program takes campers on adventures whitewater rafting, climbing & caving as well as a Washington D.C. trip!

Spectacular location, great staff, quality program! 1, 2, 3, & 4 week sessions. Ages 7-16. A wonderful summer experience in the beautiful Allegheny Mountains of West Virginia. At Camp Hidden Meadows we provide a place where young people can have fun, make new friends, and return home feeling great about their accomplishments.

Camp High Rocks

Camp High Rocks is a small camp for boys in the mountains of Western North Carolina. High Rocks is a place for fun and learning, for challenge and adventure, and for living in an environment that is geared to a camper's needs and interests.
Aided by a well-trained staff we seek to teach and inspire lasting skills and values. We offer ongoing opportunities for success, a freedom from inhibiting competitive pressure, and an environment that promotes increased self-esteem and a close sense of community. High Rocks offers the opportunity to grow with one, two, three and four week sessions, each with a higher skill and trip progression.
Activities include: rock climbing, canoeing, kayaking, horseback riding, mountain biking, hiking, arts & crafts, fishing and many more traditional camp activities. Our 1,000 acre facility adjoins a 10,000 acre state forest and Pisgah National Forest.

Residential Girls' Summer Camp
Providing a summer to remember since 1923, Camp Carysbrook offers a variety of programs including horseback riding, caving, rock climbing, riflery, archery, canoeing, arts and crafts, fencing, dance, drama and more. Girls are able to choose activities on a daily basis allowing them to discover their own abilities, challenge themselves to accomplish new goals and experience the rewards of personal growth.

Doe River Gorge was created for kids and teenagers to have a phenomenal experience that we hope will leave them with that "I-can't-believe-it's-real" feeling. Located in the beautiful mountains and Cherokee National Forest in Northeast Tennessee, Doe River Gorge offers summer camp options for 8-18 year old students. By engaging in amazing adventure, making lifelong friends, learning from qualified and passionate counselors, enjoying quiet time, sleeping in state-of-the-art lodges, experiencing awesome music and teaching, developing various skills, and eating delicious meals, Doe River Gorge is a place where young people can grow spiritually, physically, mentally, and socially. Most of the students who attend camp at Doe River Gorge continue to come back year after year because they experience a healthy balance of fun, adventure, acceptance, and love. They also develop life skills that will help them in school and prepare them for the future.

Bluestone Summer Camp

Bluestone offers four one week camping sessions in June and July. Our Resident Program will accomodate youth entering 3rd through 10th Grade, and our Trip Camps are for high school youth entering 10th through 12th Grades.
Our Summer Camping Program is based on a small group philosophy, which consists of one female and one male counselor to a group of around 10-12 kids. A week at Bluestone will provide campers with excellent opportunities for spiritual and personal growth, for meeting new friends, learning new skills, and challenging themselves.
In addition to daily arts and crafts, swim time and song time, Resident Campers have a daily bible study based on the theme of the summer. Hikes, creek walks, canoeing, sleeping out under the stars, nightly vespers, cookouts and s'mores are just some of the many other things to look forward to at Bluestone! Trip Campers can look forward as well to whitewater canoeing and rafting experiences, as well as other adventure activities depending upon which week they attend.

FOR KIDS ONLY...keep reading! Everything you want from a summer camp is at Fairview Lake YMCA. When you sign up for our traditional sleep away camp, you get to make your own schedule and choose the activities you like most! Our great activities include windsurfing/sailing, archery, arts & crafts, canoeing, rock climbing, dance, drama, in-line skating, kayaking, high and low-ropes courses, snorkeling, street hockey, swimming, voice, guitar, and of course tons of other sports options. We also have a horseback riding camp and other specialty camps for tennis, fine arts, sailing/windsurfing. Some of these specialty camps are only for boys and others are only for girls. If you are the adventurous type, you might want to sign up for one of our challenging adventure trips where you can do some real rock climbing, backpacking, canoeing safaris, fishing, biking or cave exploring.
We have over 600 acres of forests and fields, a 70,000-acre national park in our backyard and a mile-long beautiful lake for you to explore. Our kids and counselors come from all over the world. Camp Roanoke

Nestled within 700 acres of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, Camp Roanoke is conveniently located just off Interstate 81 exit 132. Since 1925, our campers have enjoyed outdoor adventures such as canoeing, field games, hiking, campfires and a challenge course complete with a 44-foot climbing tower. Older campers will enjoy off-site excursions like rock climbing and caving. Younger campers can stay for just the day with free satellite transportation.
Our affordable tuition includes lodging, meals, and everything needed for a week of outdoor adventure and fun. Camp Roanoke offers a full season of residential summer camps for youth that will create memories to last a lifetime ... all in an environment that is accredited by the American Camping Association.

Located high atop the Blue Ridge Mountains of northwest North Carolina, YMCA Camp Cheerio is the ideal place for persons of all ages to enjoy a camping or retreat experience. Camp Cheerio offers many challenging programs, from summer resident (sleepover) and coed adventure camps. With over 20 activities to choose from there is something for everyone.
Founded in 1960 by the YMCA of High Point, North Carolina, Camp Cheerio seeks to provide campers with a sustained, creative, and educational experience in the out-of-doors. Our curiosity guided programs offer a safe place to interact with over 300 animals! 26 week long courses include; Jr Vet, Adopt an Animal, Pottery, CSI, Archery, Survival Skills, Cooking, Crafts, Fishing, Riflery, Build it yourself physics lab and so much more.
Campers come from all over the world. Airport transportation available from the St. Louis International Airport. Located on 240 acres of oak/hickory forest. Our camp offers; modern air-conditioned cabins, swimming pool, fishing ponds, miles of hiking trails and it's own camp zoo.
Cheerio Adventures

Join us for an Adventure Camp experience like no other! Cheerio Adventures specializes in camp sessions from 3 days up to 14 days of unforgettable adventures. We are a Christian based adventure camp located in the mountains of SW Virginia along the New River. The camp is for boys and girls ages 10-17. All groups consist of 8-12 participants, to maximize the adventure experience and promote strong and long lasting friendships. Our focus on helping young people learn more about themselves, strengthen self-confidence, leadership, teamwork skills, is accomplished while challenging them in a safe and fun Christian setting. All equipment is provided.
