Cardigan Mountain School Summer Session
Residential coed summer camp
Lots more than a summer camp... Located in the foothills of New Hampshire's White Mountains, the Cardigan Mountain School Summer Session combines academic review and enrichment with all of the recreation and fun of a traditional summer camp for boys and birls in grades 3-9. In the mornings, students can hone their skills in math or reading; work on study skills, note taking or test prep; or challenge themselves through literature, rocketry, robotics or foreign language courses.
Classes in music, pottery, drama, and photography highlight the arts program, and Cougar Clinics give students the opportunity to practice a favorite sport or learn a new one. With so many choices, each student can design his or her ideal summer experience. In the afternoons and weekends, the 500 acre lakeside campus provides an ideal setting for sports, swimming, sailing, and simply enjoying summer in New Hampshire. Numerous off-campus trips, evening performances and bonfires, and our annual Green and White competition round out the Cardigan experience. Summer Teen photography and filmmaking courses for ages 13-18
Spend 2 weeks engaging in creative expression taking photos and making movies! Teens beginner to advanced use Photoshop, After Effects or Final Cut Pro to create portfolios. Explore historic cities & college campuses for the perfect backdrop. Photography and Filmmaking Courses: iD Film Studios 101 (pre to post-production filmmaking), Visual FX, or Professional Photography. Held at Stanford, Princeton & NYU.
COURSES: iD Film Studios 101 (pre to post-production), Visual FX (develop visual effects reel), or Professional Photography (learn advanced features of DSLR cameras & editing). Instructors with visual arts backgrounds teach in small classes (guaranteed max 8:1).

Lawrence Academy Summer Programs offers three types of one-week summer day camps: Traditional, Specialty, and Sports. The 100- acre Lawrence Academy campus provides the setting for over 35 program offerings for children entering grades 1-11. There is a camp for every age and every interest.
