The goal of Bold Earth is to teach independence and leadership skills which will lead to a lifetime of exploration, friendship and enjoyment.

Broadreach - Summer Adventures for Teens
Adventure Travel Programs
Broadreach offers worldwide summer adventure learning programs for middle school, high school and college students including marine biology, scuba, sailing, language immersion, science and medicine, community service, outdoor skills and leadership adventures. Program locations include the Caribbean, Central and South America, Canada, Australia, China, India, South Africa, Egypt, France, the Solomon Islands and Fiji. Many Broadreach programs qualify for college credit and all incorporate a community service component ranging from 5-55 hours. Multiple certifications including PADI scuba certifications, IYT sailing certifications and Wilderness First Responder are offered, and trips are 14-31 days in length in June, July and August.
If you're a teenager or college student looking for a summer beyond camp, Broadreach will take you to a whole new latitude. Since 1993, we've taken pride in introducing young people to the fun, educational and eye-opening experiences adventure can bring, and then returning them home with a record of their achievements. Our unparalleled program design, philosophy and approach to experiential adventure create trips like no other. Coed Residential CampYou may build a school or medical outpost in Costa Rica, Panama, Ecuador, Peru, Tanzania or Namibia. Work on environmental projects; restore coral reef in the Florida Keys, save monk seals in Hawaii, work with wolves in Colorado or volunteer at farmer's markets. Travel to Norway, cross the entire country kayaking, rafting, biking and hiking.
We offer formal language coursework in Costa Rica, Ecuador or Spain! We travel to the Himalayas, kayak between the skyscrapers of Chicago, and aid victims of Hurricane Katrina. We offer surfing, rock climbing, snorkeling, windsurfing, kayaking, whitewater rafting, SCUBA, backpacking, ice and snow mountaineering. You will contribute, learn and return home with a life changing travel experience to remember.

Adventures for TeenagersAdventures Cross-Country (ARCC) is celebrating 30 years of offering diverse programs for teenagers in over 20 countries and 5 western states throughout North America, Asia, Africa, Caribbean, South Pacific, Australia, Europe, Central and South America. ARCC also offers Gap Semester programs in Africa, Latin America and Asia that provide an educational and cultural bridge between high school and college.
ARCC students travel to a variety of the world's most spectacular locations and participate in activities such as community service projects, language schools, cultural immersion, backpacking, sailing, SCUBA diving, surfing, kayaking, rock climbing, mountaineering, glacier travel, ice climbing, and more!

Endowed with an insider's knowledge of every location we visit, we offer trips all over the globe for kids to live, absorb, and remember - with access unavailable to the public and unobtainable as a tourist.
Our programs feature choices of things to do, see and experience--so different from those superficial sight seeing tours herding everyone to one site after another. Our programs stay in each location we visit long enough to give you the chance to try on a new lifestyle and culture with your friends, living the life of a native.
